Certainly that was puzzling, and lack of minutes for JO....   

but probably the biggest issue was Angel shooting 3 of 16 (19%) and the rest of the team shooting 46%.  Also some untimely turnovers..

UP 50-41....  and then 4-17 FGs, 1-4 FTs, 4 turnovers next 12.5 minutes and our 9 pt lead turned into a 9 pt deficit.

Angel was phenomenal in those first 7 minutes of the 2nd half.    2-3 FGs, 2-3 FT, 3 asst, 0 TOs

The other 30 minutes he played = 1-13 FGs, 3 asst 4 TOs.

We did not lose because of Angel, but he did not play well today.

We were good when the drive or 2pt shot was the exception and the 3 was the rule.  I have no idea what the eff we were doing the last half of the 2nd half. We wasted 25 seconds of the shot clock running "offense" and then got crap looks from crap drives from Angel or anyone really.

Also, when Spradling got all pumped up for his completely meaningless 3 at the end, I wanted to fly down to Stillwater and punch him in his labia. I know I'm not alone. What a selfish prick he is.

Came out on fire in the 2nd half.  20 pts in under 7 minutes.

But then 2 bad offensive droughts.   Scored 3 pts (1 Hotrod 3) in 7 min span.   
Then after getting 5 pts from Gip and 3 from Rod, we only scored 1 lousy FT in a 4:15 span.

Defense sucked today, but our offense has carried us and you just cant have 2 stretches that bad so close together
