Should we even try to recruit Chicago?
« on: January 30, 2013, 09:28:14 PM »
Bardo-san mentioned that Weber failed at Illinois because he couldn't land the Chicago kids, but his last roster had quite a few of Chicago kids on the roster, highly ranked even, and they still fizzled. Look at this year's class for KSU...the one freshman that doesn't see the floor is a Chicago kid. My theory is that Chicago is overrated, and it would not hurt us to ditch that area and focus on Texas and other places.

It doesn't appear to be an area of focus, if a kid is available from that area we'll look at him but we're not posted up there.

Good news? I would say so! Too bad we wasted a scholarship on Orris instead of Josh Gray.

He doesn't get 4 years for sure, could get Bruced.
