I don't know what to think just yet. Saw some good, some bad, and some ugly. Typical early season, non-conference stuff.

Pretty much.  The only thing that worries me this season is I always knew Frank's teams always had a higher gear for big games.  Not sure if chicken nuggets's house of love and understanding does...

Scored at a good clip tonight even when Rod shot a lot without hitting much.

3-12 FG
0-4 3pt
0-2 FT

Still scored 85 points.

JO looked incredibly lazy.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

I'd go with lethargic over lazy.  Exactly how he looked in the scrimmage & 1st exhibition, troubling sign.

JO consistently got beat to the basket last night by every dude he was matched up on.  Very annoying.

The UND guards did their bigs no favors at all.  I don't think I've ever seen a passive, softer group of guards than I saw last night, they were small, slow, and didn't even attempt to play any kind of pressure defense anywhere on the floor.  I want to give Will some credit for being more active and aggressive but, he and the rest of our guards, were playing against stiffs.

I've been the conductor on the JO train since he got here.  When he had issues previous to last season, it was because his effort level far exceeded his skill, last season he made a jump in ability to match the effort.  There seems to be no effort, no energy with him.  This isn't a critique of the coaching staff either, he's a freaking senior & shouldn't need to be yelled at and constantly pulled from the game to be motivated to play hard.

If this doesn't get better on Monday & Tuesday I'm going to meltdown hard.

Yeah, too often JO relies on "I'll let myself get beat and try to block from behind" defensive technique. I think at times it's easy for him to get away with it when he plays really hard, but then he can also gets embarrassed by low major 6-7 post players.

I don't get Fox Sports anymore so I can't watch these games.  I checked the box score and the only thing I'm worried about is McGruds. What the hell is up with him? Can someone please explain this to me? It is very troubling.
