goEMAW Big 12 Rankings Week 7
« on: October 14, 2012, 03:50:10 PM »
That time of the week again gang. Here are the official goEMAW Big 12 rankings:

1. K-State. No brainer here. Stud players. Stud coach. Stud fans. Stud mascot. Stud colors. Stud uniforms. Stud website (this one). Stud equipment truck. Stud administrators. Stud city. Stud weather. Stud bar district.

2. OU. Look to be unbeatable by anyone not named K-State. Really flexed their muscles against a garbage Texas team.

3. Texas Tech. They are OK. Not great. Probably going to win some more games.

4. TCU. Meh, they're alright I guess.

5. Baylor. Kind of sucky but whatever.

6. OSU. Pretty garbage.

7. Texas. Pretty garbage but a little more so.

8. Iowa State. Gain a spot in this week's rankings by being smart enough to just take their beating this weekend.

9. West Virginia. Very sucky. Look to be the Big East team we all expected them to be. Oh well, welcome to big boy football losers. Probably going to have to kick them out of the conference now citing the waiting period clause in their agreement. Maybe go get Pitt instead? Louisville? Should have done that to begin with.

10. KU. Sucksville City, USA.

ISU beat TCU pretty handily.  I know we beat ISU easily and we played terribly, but we'll do that to a lot of teams.  That may of caused you to overreact.

Hard to argue with any of that.  Maybe flip 9 and 10, other than that no complaints here.

3-8 are all basically interchangeable

i agree that wvu is really shitty, it will be absolutely humiliating if we were to somehow lose to them.

well, it's their superbowl and I would imagine that LHC Bill Snyder is using the entire week to prep for TTech and it's in their hometown which smells like hot garbage and we may rest some of the starters but I still see us winning by around 28

I hear rumors that WVU just recruits offensive players to be really deep on offense.  The ones that turn out to be the most terrible, have to go in and play defense.

Also, their Defensive Coordinator is actually an offensive coordinator as they think it works like Tecmo.  He holds up the play he thinks the offense is going to run and is convinced if he guesses right, somehow his dumb crappy players will stop it.

As a group, we really didn't have any debate with any of these.  Total consensus.

I've been under the impression that snyds has been prepping the team for Alabama/Oregon ever since the OU win.  Did I miss something?   :dunno:

Is it possible to rank the bottom 2 lower than 9 and 10?

Oh good point.  I don't think a 1 through 10 traditional ranking is accurate enough.

3-7 are basically the same team IMO. It's pretty obvious who the cream of the crop and bottom of the dumpster is in this league. Everyone else will split wins/losses.

Texas should be 9. One blown fumble call away at Oklahoma State from being 0-3 in the Big 12. Complete garbage.

Texas has given up 1,255 rushing yards. That's 50 more than Kansas (!) and 323 more than the next-worst Big 12 team (Baylor).

We are going to destroy them.
