I said "Are you sure you want lots of K-State people over for this week's game?"

close personal relative of mine is a KU grad who loves KU and is married to KU people and has KU kids all day. anyway, he was telling me that he hoped it was a good game this weekend. long story short my trial for burning down his house and murdering his car with my softball bat is next month. go cats.

Honestly, I'm a little disappointed in your EMAW.

You should have been letting them know that "The Dillons Sunflower Showdown" was coming up as soon as the OU game was over.  Since we were both going into an off week, you should have initiated some texts/emails to your Sqak family and friends beginning a week ago Monday.

For example:  On the 24th I sent an email to my KU friends while cc'ing our mutual EMAW friends something along the lines of:

I know it is almost two weeks away, but it isn’t too early to start up some friendly trash talk, right?  I haven’t been following your Squawks, but you’re pretty good, right?  I mean, you’ve got Charlie Weis and Dayne Crist.
