I wanna watch tv while tailgating.

Not counting the acquiring of equipment is it hard? Like is it pretty easy to get your satellites aimed into space correctly and stuff?

It would be very difficult to successfully aim and launch a satellite. Luckily, that has already been done for you, and all you need is a dish to receive the signal.

SD with Directv is not hard, HD can be slightly more difficult but can be done w/o anything but the box and a TV

If you need a DirecTV dish, I know of one you can steal have.  My rommie and I had to leave behind our dish of three years that we installed when we moved out of our house.  Still tore up about that.

Take your High Definition television, get Apple TV for 100, and mirror your iOS device to said High Definition television!
