Only thing I ever bought from a dollar store were some Kool aid slushie type mixes, figuring that adding alcohol would be awesome.   Instead the alcohol made it so it wouldn't freeze and my dream of grape Kool aid margaritas was crushed.

Powerade is Coke's answer to Pepsi's Gatorade. I mean it doesn't really matter. There's not a lot of difference in the taste of one sports drink to another. Not enough to warrant an internet argument, anyway.

i like to show up at the dollar store with no bills smaller than $20 and watch as the cashier looks at me in horror.

"is that the smallest bill you have?"

"why, yes, i'm afraid it is."

"no 10's? no 5's?"

"afraid not. all 20's, 50's and 100's in here."

makes me feel like such a high roller, and eliminates the poor feeling i had when i walked into the store.
