do we have a DIY thread?

2 layers of this crap over hardwood.  :dubious: :shakesfist:

found two spots of termite damage (very old) but the bugs were nice enough to only destroy two boards and leave the boards next to the damage alone.  found some old paint spatter and rough spots that will need some TLC and such.
