coach weber will retire here ...

maybe he builds his ultimate castle overlooking one of the fairways at colbert hills. there are worse places in the world to retire than this great college town. welcome coach!

ps: beat kansas!

It was tough to see Martin go in one sense.

He was successful and put our basketball back on a winning track, but his shtick was getting old. It was embarrassing for the universities fans (especially those my age) to see his tirades on the sideline. If he would have spent those time outs setting up something to run or doing some coaching, maybe we would have won some of those close games. Instead, continual running down of (and swearing at) players achieves nothing on the sideline at time out.

In retrospect, I'm glad Martin's gone. There is a good nucleus of players remaining for the Wildcats and there is no doubt Weber can coach. I'm looking forward to next year, just as soon as I burn through my football fever.

Go Coach Snyder and the football Cats.

Welcome to Wildcat country, to the Wildcat Nation, & to Manhattan!!! You've chosen a great town & university! With an attitude like yours, you will SUCCEED! I hope you Love Manhattan like I do/did! I miss my old stomping grounds!!! Good luck to you & your family! I can't wait to watch you & OUR KANSAS STATE WILDCATS grow & win! (will miss Coach Martin, but I still miss Jack Hartman--he was the master!) Good luck!!!!

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

“You start with 90 percent approval and it goes down after that. It’s part of it,” Weber said during an interview with The Associated Press. “When I got to Illinois, Bill was well liked, and well-liked by the players, for the most part. I think it was similar to what we have here.”

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

They thought they hated Martin, but after being coached a few weeks they're like "nevermind Frank we love you and your tough love!"

Somehow, during yesterday's epic drunk that had not a thing to do with EMAW or basketball, I went on a rant about this.  I think it went well.

Don't show up for a fourth quarter after only coming out because it was accidentally revealed to your bros that you were in town and didn't let any of them know...
