one of my grandpa's was air force in ww2. he was a nose gunner on b17's and b24's. he had a "lucky bastard's club" plaque for flying 31 missions and making it back in one piece.

One of my grandfathers was a farmer in Kansas.  He got some sort of exemption on being drafted so he could run the farm.

i don't think my family fought in the 20th century wars.  hard to tell for sure, my family doesn't keep great records.  fought the crap out of the civil war though (the american ones).  the european ones were german, so i'm sure they were killing someone too.

Grandfather was on the USS San Diego (18 battle stars, 2nd in the Pacific fleet)
Great Grandfather on my mom's side was in WWI and buried  in one of the low European countries
Uncle on my mom's side was put up for a Medal of Honor but rejected because the US gov wasn't into putting major awards out for Nam early in the war (lived, but paralyzed in action)
Dad was in Nam, Purple Heart w/cluster
Cousin with time in Afghanistan and Bosnia

That's awesome, but KSU Cat football players get steak like every day if they want, and fried chicken too, and even whole bags of sugary snacks if the coaches think they need to put on pounds.  Sounds like kinda a raw deal for the military guys, but then again, they aren't exactly KSU Cat football players.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

That would be annoying. What about pizza?

Pizza is notoriously hard to get right.
