Quincy Miller will leave Baylor after just one season to enter the NBA Draft, Yahoo! Sports’ Marc Spears is reporting.
He is expected to hire an agent, and should he take that step, he will be unable to change his mind before the NBA’s April 29 deadline and return to school. Dwon Clifton is expected to represent Miller, according to Spears.
Miller evidently changed his mind after saying on April 10, the NCAA’s toothless deadline to declare for the draft, that he’d be back at Baylor for his sophomore year.
Miller was the Big 12 co-Player of the Year and averaged 10.6 points and 4.9 rebounds in 37 games. A scout tells Yahoo! that Miller can be a top 15 pick in June’s draft.
