I think they'll be good enough to where they're bound to beat someone, but I don't know who I would pick them against.

I think they will have a good chance against Tech and Iowa St.

I look forward to the August phog prediction thread which includes auto wins against us and Mizzou.

Baylor could be very mediocre on offense with Florence and their defense is still  :sdeek: . They'll be vulnerable.

I agree. I think KU picks up their first conference win in 8 years against either Baylor, Tech, or ISU.

Wow - I was actually embarrassed for them.  That was wonderfully awkward.

a few things:

1) Baylor will be good offensively next year.  Perhaps not as good as '11 but they will still be vulnerable.  RG3's replacement won in Columbia in '09 btw and filled in nicely vs. Tech last year.  I doubt KU is capable of beating them on the road.

2) KU isn't going to win in Lubbock.

3) Oklahoma Sate and Iowa State, two home games, are KU's best chances.

Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.
