He sounded like an idiot at the presser and unprepared because he just got fired. His plan was to sit around and laugh at the notion for getting paid to leave for sucking THEN the phone rings and I'm sure he spit his drink across the rough ridin' room when he heard ADJC's voice on the other end offering him a job. He was probably like, "You want to hire ME? Uh, sure... I'll do it!" It's like he hit the shitty coach lottery - being paid all that scratch from Illinois THEN getting more thrown at him from us!  :facepalm:
We are K-State and we love to hire SHlTTY coaches.

i'm not sure he would got that college of charleston job. you know who did finally just accept it? the only guy that gottleib said that he would have brought on as a staff member.

two guys competing for a single job. one becomes our head coach and the other would've been our assistant coach.
