wish kstate had got him.  not really a ball-handler, so maybe it's a misguided wish, dunno.  always liked him though, and he's been great for ucinn.

Kilpatrick would have been a huge help for this team. Agreed, not a ball handler, but a great catch and shoot 3 pt. guy who rebounds well for his position.

Got to give Cronin credit, he has really brought that program back. I was skeptical in about year 4, but they were in the doldrums when he took over. Starting to pay off now. Also, was very impressed with his handling of the X-UC brawl. Much more of a stand up dude than Chris Mack who acted like a spoiled adolescent in the aftermath of the brawl. His a-hole players all followed suit (Holloway and Lyons, supposed leaders of the team, especially a-holish). Really lost respect for Mack at that moment.

We were in on Cash, but from what I heard he was only considering KSU if Huggs stuck around. Also, he was seriously considering transferring to UGA if Bob Knight landed that job a few years back.

:horrorsurprise: Wright wouldn't have made it through a semester of Knight's racism.  If he did he would have been ruined as an effective basketball player.

Probably true, but maybe we could have swapped Spradling for Cash. Knight seems to think Will is some Dane Fife/Steve Nash hybrid.
