Beems' upset specials
« on: March 12, 2012, 05:28:13 PM »
South Dakota State over Baylor (I have SDSU in my Sweet 16)

Belmont over G'Town (I have Belmont in my Sweet 16)

*I've been fearing Detroit ever KU since the brackets came out, but that's probably just a defense mechanism.  Computer predictors have KU winning ~94% of the time, so I'm feeling better now.

How do you feel about texas in the first round as an 11 seed? I'd be terrified of them as a 6 seed.

Cincy is playing better since going to a more guard-oriented lineup.  Best chance of an 11 over 6 is NC State over San Diego St., imo.

SDSU will not beat Baylor.

Belmont may beat Georgetown, G-town has been a fraud all year.

I like the 11, 12, 13 & 14 seeds in KU's bracket since that seems to happen every year in their bracket anyway.

N Mexico St has the best chance for an upset of the 13-15 seeds.     Also, if Iona beats BYU and i think they will.... look out

My two favorite players from championship week were Ray McCallum and Kareem Jamar from Montana, he is fearless.

I think The Beach will beat New Mexico. I could also maybe see Harvard beating Vanderbilt.

This is a very tough bracket to figure out.  The committee really did a great job this year.
