Twitter is no different than xanga except for the allotted amount of characters given to share one's ideas. Everyone posts their own without reading anyone else's.

There is a reason why Facebook is making things more complicated. To confuse the user and make it easier for the Government to collect even more personal information about it's users. Don't think so? look at how personal and intricate things are getting. Facebook not only builds a data base on it's user but everyone who comes in contact with the user as well...it collects personal information, cell or mobile phone numbers, etc. All the government needs is a name and they are able to track a user, their friends, their family, what they are doing, or going to do, etc. Facebook is becoming nothing less than a tracking device on the people who use it. The government has given Facebook a large sum of money so they can access it's resources to do just that....track us. Don't think so? Sometimes to see one only needs to look. But alot of people are not looking in that regard and that's why they continue to do it....and get away with it. Just say NO to Facebook.

the only thing more annoying than the "omg, facebook changed and i hate it" people are the "hey, it's free, stop bitching" people.

Facebook makes money from traffic.  Making stupid, unnecessary changes will result in loss of traffic = loss of money.

I find it all very interesting...myspace was king, then they changed things for no apparent reason. Now a ghost town.

I was going to delete my Facebook account.  I put a message on my wall asking all my Facebook friends who wanted to stay in contact with me to PM me with their email by a certain date.  One of my friends wrote on my wall, "The only reason you're doing this is to beg for attention."  I wrote back, "You're right," and just deleted him instead.
