Oh yes, definitely. I forgot to mention this in my original post. If I want to read the thread, I exclusively use the "new" button.

I didn't realize you could do this for like the first 6 months I was on this site.  I was so pissed at myself for not figuring it out sooner.  Pretty much changed my life.

It took me way longer than 6 months. :frown:

I use the home button on the keyboard to quickly get back to the top so I can click unread again as efficiently as possible.

Usually go straight to the "in season board," and click through interesting topics.  Every once in a while I remember to use the unread link and then I get mad because I've missed out on all the really good thread tangents because the original topic didn't interest me.  goEMAW tangents are the best and thread titles can be very misleading to the actual intent.

yeah, some threads don't interest me at all. Like the briefcase thread for example. I was just ignoring it...but then realized it was at like 4 pages. I mean, you can't just not check it out. I hate missing stuff.
Sometimes I think of the Book of Job and how God likes to really eff with people.

I'm kind overwhelmed right now you guys.  I got super pak'd on Thursday at P&L and then had a busy weekend and didn't have any time to bbs.  Now I'm like 5 days behind and I don't even know where to start.  I mean it wouldn't be that bad during the summer or something, but I feel like I missed some premium bbs'ing with the Phillips and then the selection.  I'm just kind of bouncing around hopelessly with no rhyme or reason because I feel like I'll never catch up.  It's a sick feeling.  Anybody ever get that far behind during a good bbs'ing time like this? Any advice is appreciated.

Sincerely,

Confused in Kansas

http://goEMAW.com/forum/index.php?action=unread;all;start=0

Open up all the pages in separate tabs.  Start on the oldest page and read the ones that look most important.  Work your way from oldest to newest that way.  Eventually go back and read them all.  Remember to hit the "new" button, not the thread titles.
