First time ever by an unranked team? It has to be, right?

We were so close to beating UNBEATEN Top 10 teams in Back-2-Back games back in January.

Now fitting,  the same 2 teams............ and we beat them both Back-2-Back on the  road, while their in the top 10.

What was the stat Gottlieb dropped in the 2nd half? We had 7 total road victories in Big 12 play prior to Huggins' arrival, or something like that? LOL.

I don't know the actual total, but that sounds about right.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Altman, Asbury, and Wooly each had fewer than 10 league road wins.

I scanned the media guide and I counted 10 road Big 12 wins in the 10 years of league existence prior to Huggins.  So an average of one per year.  Asbury had 2 and Wooly had 8.

Wow. What a boost this 2 game stretch has been for my EMAW levels. It was definitely on the ropes after the loss in the CTR.

Frank is now 20-20 in Big 12 play on the road.

ON?THE?ROAD?AGAIN
Kansas State has been solid on the road in Big 12 play under head coach Frank Martin, posting a 19-20 (.487) since the 2007-08 season.  Prior to Martin’s arrival (which includes a 4-4 road mark as Bob Huggins’ top assistant in 2006-07), the Wildcats won just 10 road games (out of 70) in their first 10 years of Big 12 play, including winless marks in 1997, 2000, 2002 and 2003.  You would have to count up the last six years of the Big Eight (1990-96) and the first 10 in the Big 12 to surpass the 19 road wins that Martin has posted in his tenure.  This season, the Wildcats have gone 3-4 on the road, including a victory over No. 9/10 Baylor in Waco on Saturday, which was just the second over a Top 10 foe on the road since 1994.
