The distrust within this dystopia of each other: people come into work looking to make someone else’s life bad and they’re deriving great pleasure from the psychological pain they’re inflicting bureaucratically on one another.
I typically find most whistleblowers to be insecure, high-maintenance types who are also somewhat bad at their job. But that aside, this quote is laughably true. You could make a hilarious Office-type show about working at some of these places.
