Nothing would happen the first night. But then _____would change the next assuming that they have green eyes.

I can't figure out how many

All would change on the 100th night when they realized that all 99 other dragons were waiting on them to see if anyone else would change.

I'm really bad at explaining this.

They have a rule on the island which states that if a dragon ever finds out that he/she has green eyes, then at precisely midnight on the day of this discovery, he/she must relinquish all dragon powers and transform into a long-tailed sparrow.

Why do "logic" puzzles so often have the most illogical premises?

100th night they all turn into swans or whatever. 2 dragons on the island and its a stalemate because both think the other one will transform. when they realize the second day the other hasnt transformed they know that they have green eyes because the other knew they had green eyes. 3 dragons... 3 days. 100 dragons... 100 days.

We know that at least one of them transforms. Therefore, they all transform on the first midnight. Remember, theyre perfectly logical. They all have the same eye color. At least one of their eyes are green. Therefore, all of their eyes are green.

A single dragon can see every set of eyes but his own. Every set he can see matches, so he concludes he must have green eyes, irrespective of whether they all have green eyes or just him.

if they are all logical then they are not giving up their dragon powers until they know for sure that they have green eyes. theres no way for any of them to know for sure until the 100th night.

this problem works way better with humans who have different color eyes that way dumb dumbs like spracne dont get confused.

Midnight is the first part of any day. So if they find out later in the day, they would have already turned into sparrows.

They all change the first night. Because everyone else has the same colored eyes. So they must conclude they are the odd one out.

All change the first night.

I initially thought this too, but then I thought it through, and I figured it out.
