So you don't have to read the whole thing, KSU missed out on 9-11 FTs in the second half.  That is quite a bit.

2nd Half

19:29 – Kabongo gets away with a shove off on Will. No call. pretty blatant.
19:26 – Gip is draped all over Chapman and has him in an arm lock.  Foul called. Easy call.
19:14 – Same possession, JO now in for Gip and he gets away with the same thing that Gip got called for 12 seconds ago.
19:08 – Same position, JO gets called for a foul trying to block a Chapman dunk attempt show little to no contact.  IMO this was not a foul.
18:55 – Wangamene gets away with the same arm lock/ hold that Gip got called for less than a minute ago.
18:44 – Brown gets called for running through a screen. It wasn’t hard contact, but the refs were calling the game tight and Brown should have known better.  Good call.
18:12 -  I thought that Diaz may have been fouled on a put back attempt but on further review it looks like if anyone touched him it was McGruder.
18:09 – Diaz is called for a foul (reach) on a Kabongo coast to coast.  I looked four times and didn’t see much if anything.  IMO this was a poor call. All Diaz was doing was trying to get into rebound position. Kabongo gets 2 fts
17:34 – Brown gets away with a push off trying to get open from McGruder. Bad no call for as tight as they are calling this game.
17:31 – Wangamene leans in on his screen to bump Vic out of the way.  Should have been a call.
17:32 – Same possession, Vic gets called for a foul on the shot of the driving Brown.  It looked like he probably got him with the body.  It looked like Diaz fouled him more than Vic but that was after the whistle I think.  Vic jaws at Diaz to fight through the screen.
17:15 – Either Kabongo or Wangamene(I think it was him) gets called for a reach on an Angel drive.  Foul is on the floor at elbow. Easy call.  Could have called it on either of them.
15:52 – Wangamene gets away with a trip out high on Angel as Angel tries to split a trap.  Should have been a call if the refs want to be consistent.  Angel continues his drive and misses a lay in in traffic.  I looked for a foul here but didn’t find one.
15:50 – Same possession, Jo gets called for a foul on the fight for the board. It looked like he got his arm tangled in Wangamene’s.  There was a foul here.
Side Note: Frank is upset and talks with the official as there is a Time out after the play.  Frank is asking why fouls aren’t getting called on Texas. The refs have missed some calls here. Frank has a real beef here.  The missed calls weren’t shooting fouls, but they would have led to more 1-1 opportunities later in the game.
Another side note: I was running for some Pizza during this portion of the game listening on radio. So I didn’t see this stuff.  I got back at the 15:50 mark.

First 5 Minutes of 2nd half – KSU: 4 possible/ probable fouls, 5 fouls called.  I thought there were two fouls called on KSU that should not have been. We got away with one foul.   UT: 5 possible/ probable fouls, 2 fouls called.  Again these were all away from the basket, so they wouldn’t have aided in the current longhorn run much but would have set us up for more FTs later on.  Frank had beef.  I have beef and probably would have if I was watching the game at this point.  There is a bit of egg on MY face right now.

15:00  to 10:00 following

14:50 - blocking foul on Will out high on a driving Brown. Easy call.
14:37 – Same possession, Lewis gets away with a shove off while handling ball.
14:34 – Same possession, Shane gets called for a hack on a Holms shot from the block. Easy call.  Note that this play wouldn’t have happened if the shove off was called.  The call itself was a good call.
Fouls 7-2 at this point according to ESPN graphic.
13:52 – Foul called on McClellan as he holds McGruder as Rod cuts out to get a pass. Easy call.  (If called correctly KSU would be shooting first 1-1 now)
Side note: Pretty impressive booing by UT crowd here, they are also mad because they didn’t think Wangamene traveled a second ago.  He did.
13:52 – Lewis gets called for holding on Angel on inbounds. Easy call. (should be another 1-1)
Fun sidenote: UT tuck and wife are shown close up booing and wearing foam horns on there head.  Dude reminds me of the Borden cow. Crowd really booing there hearts out.
13:25 – Will called for blocking out high on another Brown drive.  Easy call.  Will can’t check Brown.(not a knock on Will, Brown is good.) 1-1 for Brown.
Side Note: Fran makes comment about how great a job officials are doing maintaining control over the game.  I don’t agree thus far in second half.
12:18 – Jamar gets bodied by Chapman but still makes the shot. Should have been an and-1.  Bad no call. I think this is the first possible/ probable shooting foul on UT this half.
11:22 – Tay gets away with a shove off trying to get freed up to receive a pass on the wing.
10:30 – Angel fouls Kabongo on the drive (on the shot).  There were guys in the way of my view, but they were calling it tight, and Angel didn’t object.

Second 5 minutes of the 2nd half – KSU: 5 possible/ probable fouls, 4 fouls called. UT: 4 possible/ probable fouls, 2 called.  First missed UT shooting foul I saw this half.  KSU should have shot at least three FTs at this point.  We still aren’t attacking enough but those missed non-shooting fouls are starting to play roll. UT should have 9 team fouls at this point.  They have been called for 4.  KSUs fouls are about right at 9-9.

Score is now 49-47 KSU.

The egg on my face is coming from the first 5 minutes.

10:00-5:00

9:30 – Brown trips Angel on a drive, foul is on the floor.  Good call.  Angel should be shooting the double bonus.  This is the 5th foul called on UT this half.
9:28 – Shane shoves off trying to get free to receive a pass. Foul Called. Easy call.
8:44 – Brown drives past McGruder and I think McGruder was called for a foul on the shot.  Shot goes in for an and-1.  I didn’t see any contact.  Bad Call.
8:04 – Samuels with good drive but fails to convert and then gets stripped on the rebound. I watched this a few times and am convinced it was a good no call.
7:00 – Holmes gets called for another off the ball foul.  Good call. Samuels should be shooting 2 here in the double bonus.
5:38 – I thought Spradling might have been fouled here on the baseline drive, but after further review it was pretty good defense. Good No call.

Third 5 minutes of the 2nd half – KSU – 1 possible/ probable foul, 2 fouls called. UT: 2 possible/ probable fouls, 2 called.  This was a pretty clean stretch of basketball for both teams, but the damage was done early.  KSU should no be in the double bonus and should have shot at least 7 FTs with a max of 9. UT outscored KSU 13-7 here.  KSU missed out on 4 FTS by Angel and Samuels in this time frame.

5:00 – 0:00 (actually until we start fouling on purpose)

4:49 – Samuels trips Brown.  Good call.
4:07 – Spradling reaches and gets called for a foul on the floor. Easy call.
3:27 – Diaz shoulders Wangamene underneath.  Easy call.
2:40 – Angel gets bumped on the drive, possibly on the shot by at least two Longhorn defenders, and misses the shot.  You can hear him say “come on” after the play.  At least I think it was him.  This was one of the few missed calls I noticed while watching the game live.  Angel should be shooting 2 here regardless in the double bonus.
1:16 – Jamar fouls on the rebound.  Easy call.  I don’t think this foul was on purpose yet.

Fouling starts…

Last 5 (actually 4) minutes of second half KSU: 4 possible/ probable fouls, 4 fouls called. UT: 1 possible/ probable foul, none called.  Two more FTs would have been shot by KSU.

By what I’ve seen KSU missed out on between 9 and 11 Free Throws in the second half.  Just going by the average that is around 6-7 points we missed out on.  Its funny because in the time I was watching on Saturday I didn’t think that UT got away with too much and the second viewing confirms those thoughts.  The officials IMO missed 3 calls on UT in the final 15 minutes.

That wasn’t the real problem.  It was the accumulation of missed holds, shove offs, etc.  that jobbed the Cats because we never got to shoot the bonus on the later calls.  We still didn’t attack the rim enough or force them to foul (though they fouled a lot early anyway but didn’t get called.

This is probably karma catching up with me for being an bad person.

In the second half before fouling on purpose KSU: 14 possible/ probable fouls, 15 fouls called. UT: 12 possible/ probable fouls, 6 fouls called.

I saw two missed shooting fouls on UT.

Also, sorry to MIR for being a dick.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Wow. That takes dedication. I would have just looked at the stat line, saw zero free throw attempts in the second half, and realized that it's pretty much impossible to not even shoot one free throw with fair refs.

I didn't think you were being an bad person.  I was being an bad person because I couldn't figure out what game you had watched on Saturday.
