Anyone else grow up with “chocolate covered peanut butter balls? The center is made of peanut butter plus Rice Krispies and powdered sugar and then coated in chocolate.

My friend who is of Mennonite heritage brought us a plate of fresh New Year’s cookies this morning. Basically a ball of funnel cake type dough with raisins mixed in, fried like a donut and then coated with a sugary glaze. Absolutely delicious with a mug of hot coffee or tea.
