Beasley seems to not be liked nationally by NBA writer types. confirm, deny?

I'd say its split.  Some think he's a head case, some think he hasn't been in a system that fits him.  Either way its way too early to write the final script for Mike.  I've spent the last 8 months listening to people gush about how valuable a player and how good of a teammate Lamar Odom is.  Earlier in his career he was trashed just as much as Beasley is, he matured, found a good situation and all of a sudden the same media who trashed him before now treats him like he's Barack Obama.
behold the power of the Kardashians

Rubio's good.
MB will finally get to play with a good pass first guy, will be great

Beasley frequently shoots 20+ times per game, I don't think Rubio is going to help much.

help what?

He seems to be implying that Rubio will benefit Beasley in some way, I assume he means scoring.  Beasley gets plenty of scoring opportunities.

So are you saying an upgrade at point guard won't help the entire Minnesota roster get better looks?  Did you watch the game tonight?  Did you see Minnesota past year without Berea and Rubio?  Do you understand basic premises about team sports?

You're right.  Beasley is going to dominate this year now that Rubio is there.  Good grief.   :flush:

I not sure even you can follow your own logic.

Mike is also going to get to play for legit NBA coach for the first time in career, MN could be a darkhorse playoff team once Rubio settles in.  I was impressed at how well Rubio stayed in front of Westbrook.

All I'm saying is that I don't think Rubio is going to have that much of an impact on Beasley's offensive effectiveness.  I don't think its that complex.

The only person who tried to quantify Rubio's impact was you.  Skipper simply expressed mild excitement that Mike would be playing with a "good pass first guy" and you went from kim carnes to the Incredible Tard on him/her.

For the record, Barea at least for the better part of this season will have more of a positive impact on the Timberwolves than Rubio.

Yes, Adelman is what I'm most excited about.  Minnesota finally decided to pay for a proven head coach and not some dumbshit ex player.  He's the first proven coach the franchise has ever had and already the second best coach in Wolves history, regardless of his record.  That play he called for Derrick Williams when they were down 4 late was the perfect example of what a good coach with a young team can do in the NBA.  I want Mark Jackson to be successful, but who's drawing up iso sets on that staff?  Also Terry Porter looks like a cartoon movie villain.
