K-State beats OSU Saturday Night
« on: November 04, 2011, 04:12:53 PM »
I, for one, am sick and tired of the media thinking this is going to be a cakewalk for the Cowboys on Saturday night. Here's a prediction for everyone out there... their 28 year old (man) QB Weeden is going to get injured in the 1st quarter of the game and it's gonna be "panic on the streets of Stillwater!"

When K-State is up 31-7 in the 3rd quarter, the 4% of America who is watching the game will be like "what the shazbot!?!" While the other 96% of America who will be watching the Alabama/LSU game will see this score scrolling on the bottom of their TV screen will be like "Meh, K-State is beating OSU."

This game will not be close. Arthur Brown is gonna take his game to a whole other level and not only take out Weeden, but give the knockout blow to Blackmon. Dude's gonna be concussioned like Sidney Crosby.

Game over OSU. Game over.

Care to bet a week of bbs silence over it?

I get this feeling too.   Of course, I get the feeling I've been kidnapped by aliens, too.  But not gang-probed.

Is he the guy to replace Weeden next year?  His rivals profile says he was dual threat out of HS, does OSU stay with the current style O or go back to what they did with Robinson?

He wasn't that fast in high school.

True story...he was the backup for/succeeded Austin box in high school.  He's not a drug addict, though.

Box was a HS QB?  Man, you should write a screenplay for Varsity Blues 2.0 based loosely on his life

'98 Cats kind of thing. Known weakness (pass defense for Bishop's Cats; run defense of Okie St.) exposed and favorite panicked into all kinds of foolish mistakes.

It could happen.

He was a damn good qb, very tebow-like. He was also lb.

Jesus, what a bunch of men of taste and distinction!  We are going to win.  OSU's defense is awful, we will be on the field for 40 minutes.  We don't turn the ball over and that's the only way they win (except passing and running on offense)

Legit question ... all this hype about OSU's turnover margin.  How do they get their TO's?  In the air, or forcing fumbles?  If it's in the air, I'm less concerned.  eff it, I'm not concerned at all.  This is going to be one of those games where at the halftime show they sit around in stunned silence, wondering WTFU with K-State laying wood to the Cowboys.
