Defense...we're doing it wrong. :(
I hate our zone coverage (gave it a brief reprieve (sp?) after Malone's 2nd INT, but) it leaks and leads to losses. I hope we stop it. Oh, yeah, and blitz once in a while too, please, thx. It's really clear to me that when our offense can't chew up the clock, our defense shows its not (much?) better than last year's version.
Our defense is much better against the rush than last year. Unfortunately Oklahoma and Oklahoma State have pass happy offenses and the only two defenders on our team who aren't incompetent at pass coverage are Garrett and Malone. Doesn't help that our defensive line still can't generate any QB pressure.
