Quote
“I’m not saying it would be bad or won’t be bad (playing once on neutral court). I will say this ... the media is not going to dictate who we play. I’ll dictate who we play as long as I’m coaching here,” Self said. “I have no ill will toward Missouri at all, but to do something at a time that could be so damaging and hurtful to a group, I can’t see us just taking it and forgetting. I think that would be something that’d be talked about with our administration and we’d make a decision that’s best for our place. They are making a decision that’s best for theirs. We’ll make a decision on a schedule that’s best for us.

Yup, say what you want to about Bill Seff and his addiction to slavery but keep it "between the lines".  Outside the lines, I suggest you don't mess with masta.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Self and Snyder are a lot a like when it comes to scheduling.  Both get pretty  :shakesfist: when someone else takes sure W's off their schedule.

There is definitely a high correlation between the initials BS and being able to dominate other programs.

Yeah, and it's been good for K-State and the rest of the Big 12. What's your point?

Seven straight Big 12 titles.  Four Elite Eights.  One Final Four.  One National Title.  But yeah, Bill Self has been good for K-State.

K-State has steadily improved since Bill Self arrived at KU, so yeah, he's been good for K-State.

It seems like that improvement has more to do with hiring Huggins/Martin than KU hiring Bill Self.

Huggins was hired because Wefald and Weiser were sick of being embarrassed at home by KU. If both programs were shitty, and K-State beat KU at home with some consistency, they probably wouldn't have hired a coach with the baggage that Huggins carries. Sad, but true.

Huggins was hired because he was the best coach available, and K-State needed a good coach.

K-State had not traditionally gone with "best coach available."  They had gone with SLTH.  Self helped to cause the breaking of that habit.
