I smiled Saturday fatty. I smiled when I read that Omari is shooting the cover off the ball. I smile all the time.

Our passing game in Miami was really pretty good until we started allowing Miami to get pressure in the 2nd half. I think we'll get at least 2 or 3 big plays in the passing game because Bennett will take chances with blitzes, we'll pick them up, and then we'll will have recievers running wide open.

One important factor in this is Klein's uncanny inability to
A). hold onto the ball and complete his throwing motion
B). have a complete throwing motion intact because we all know after 30 carries, a shoulder may go out
C). Have a quick enough release on a blitz or collapsing pocket
D). Put enough zip on the ball to get it downfield

ya i don't know anything about football deputy dawg, but if we're down 2 TD's in the fourth, we won't be running play action passes.

I think playing in the semi-arid Kansas air will help with item A.

Remind me again of rushing yards by Hubert, and rushing D by Baylor?

Thanks for pissing down my leg there, Limestone.  "Chance" is anywhere between 1% and 99%.  I'll put you down for the 1% column.

Baylor rushing D is 79th out of 120 teams in DI.

hey guys, we're down by 2, we're going to grind it out, full house backfield.  because we can run it on you.   this first down is going to break your back.

they won't.  I just think we'll handle their run game with the front 7 and also have the ability to utilize the LBs in some blitzes and passing games on the shorter routes.  The bubble screen is a very effective play for them but less effective if you have aggressive corners and can get assistance with swift LBs.

I fully expect Baylor to score on their first few drives and then we'll settle down, adjust to them, and put some limitations on them.

I realize our offense is not quite as consistent as we want it to be but I see some big plays coming in this game for us given bennett's style.  It works great when he has the personnel...he doesn't have '99 KSU defensive personnel.

I think we're going to win this win 38-27ish.
Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.

yes. I'd prefer having them score early and fizzle out than to gain momentum as the game wears on.

Agreed...I don't think I could handle another Miami-like game.

I just really, really, really want some sort of blind side blitz, where an end or a corner absolutely murders RG3 just as he finishes a 7 step drop.   :lynchmob:

No, he's on to something here Limestone. The timeout we'll have to take when we don't have the correct people on the field for a punt will be instrumental in everything. You just wait and see!!

I'd like to say we're due for an ol' fashioned DOD punt block but we have to make them punt first.

anything less than 4th and 2 around midfield and they'll go for it
