A little bit of reality seeps in, aided by an outsider, it seems:

You won't get a dime from the legislature. KU is bonded out to it's legal limit so you can't add debt.

But they remain at base delusional:

I saw a study about 5 years ago that KU had more millionaire alumni than almost everybody in the conference.
