amazing that KSU has the 4th rated "total defense" in the Big 12 but if you look at some of the other games you can see why.

OU is ranked 2nd in the conference in total defense despite surrendering 532 to Mizzou, 570 to Tech, 524 to aTm, and 620 to Baylor. 

I would imagine Texas' numbers will get gashed a bit after finishing with Baylor and aTm on the road to end the season.
Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.

Further affirming that the forward pass is what beats OU.

You could really tell Texas was all over the 2nd half film of the K-State vs OU game.
