Brian Butler just ended his interview on KAKE Sports Overtime Live with "Go Cats!"
Was in 'Ta Town last night and caught that segment.
"Bryce had some chicken fingers and fries, that's the extent of his relationship"
"It wasn't a recruiting trip, Arthur had been in Miami for two or three months. His parents and I were down there for the Spring game and we went to lunch. That was the entire extent of our relationship".
People I work with (mostly squawks) tried to paint this guy as some sleezy, conniving, wichita version of Don King. After watching that show last night, I'm not sure Brian Butler is that smart. More like a guy that's happened to know enough talented athletes to have accidentally made a name for himself. Like if Don King and Forest Gump had sex, their offspring would be Brian Butler.
