A homemade Pierogi place just opened in City Market. I think I'll try it tomorrow.

Runza is like the Burger King of bierocks 

It has been there awhile and it sucks.  Go to burrito brothers instead.

it opened may 20th (last friday).

Runza just opened in the old LJS in Mission. Now when you come to KC it will feel like home.

Place was packed last weekend. This area must be lousy with transplanted bugeaters. Love how they keep their big red flags hidden all year until they beat a local school, then the next morning they're all flying in front of their houses.

Bierocks can be really good, actually made some this week, but Runza is the nastiest stuff on earth.  At first I thought they put cocaine in them and that was why people kept talking about it, but then I tried one, and never ever wanted one again.  Then I had another like a year later to make sure it wasn't just that runza place that sold soggy hoagie buns stuffed with the cheapest goat meat available and some onions.  Guess what?  It was not just that runza place.

Basically it's just hamburger, onion and cabbage cooked together with salt and pepper. Make sure you add TONS of pepper - that's what makes the difference.

I had my first 3 Runzas at my first Nebraska game. We were playing Missouri.

I threw up all over my zippered red Thriller jacket.
My one white glove got it first. If I had a do over I wouldn't have put my gloved hand to my mouth. It didn't stop it, it just sprayed it around.

People were mad at me, my glove and coat looked and smelled bad. It was horrible.
