Here's a story about the interview: http://www.kansas.com/2011/05/01/1830249/martin-still-content-at-k-state.html

I appreciate Lutz' doggedness at peeling back the layers of the pressing wichita state matter.

my favorite part and i'm pretty sure he's serious...

Hillside High only wants to play K-State and KU when they think they're good.

But hey, they're "National Champions" and all.

Love arguing with my dad about WSU.  He's one of those guys that really thinks that WSU would have made like the Final Four, based solely on their close loss to UCONN.  WSU fans are completely oblivious to logic.

But where?  Wichita?  Lawrence?  MHK?  Hopefully the legislators can spend a weekend together and get some bills moves along to mandate where the AD weekend summit will take place.

Martin proposed a round-robin tournament of sorts that would include KU, KSU, WSU and another school — he suggested UMKC, although I don't think the Kangaroos are at a level high enough to be included.

If he didn't recruit shitty, or even if he did recruit shitty, but still had us winning the coference (or getting rough ridin' second) or being a consistent Sweet 16'er, then I would love him unconditionally.

"Something else I don’t like, I don’t like change. I don’t like moving around."

Apparently he doesn't apply this ethic to the guys he recruits....
