I got a banking job. I remember spending a lot of time writing paychecks for other people. It was a pretty boring job but I remember being happy that it paid well. Don't remember what I bought with my money, but I think I probably just invested most of it.

So about halfway through our first half meltdown tonight, I asked Mrs. KSUdub if she ever went to exchange city. She said she had the job writing everyone's paychecks. My wife and I had the same friggin job at exchange city. Now how's THAT for compatibility?
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Any of you elite KC kids go to Exchange City in grade school? Holy balls was that a good time. I remember being super excited when I reached 5th grade cuz thats when we all went to Exchange City.

* Learned how to write a check
* Got a ticket for walking on the grass (never paid)
* Was the Sign Shop manager
* Requested several songs from the DJamer (she was my girlfriend)

Would love to go back. Exchange City-Pak  :dunno:

Was the judge.

 :gocho:

Me too. Loved fining my teachers and getting my friends off the hook when they walked on the grass.

Just want to reiterate how awesome this was. And being one of two jobs that got voted on. I mean, talk about being a huge 5th grade stud.

Any Wichita Cats remember the children's museum with the fake news set?  That was fun.

Now that I've seen a picture of the place I remember going there. I received many walking on the grass tickets. I also do not recall what my job was.

Applied for DJamer, didn't get it, it went to TJ instead which is basically preordained.

I was employed instead as the editor for the town paper which works out real well when you and friends distract one of the dufus bankers and rob the bank. As editor I wrote my own story describing a make believe suspect. Talked to 0 cops for that article as well, which again, in hindsight should have been a red flag considering the article had lots of detail regarding the event itself.

Like someone else said though there wasn't much to spend the loot on without arousing suspicion. Think we bought fruit punch and popcorn over and over.
