Please welcome the Odessa Jackalopes to the league. Looks like we might have played our last season in the South Division, cant imagine another team being added and nothing changed.

Don't know what the word around the NAHL is but rumor is several more CHL teams (especially those from the southern part of the league) may be moving to the NAHL. Seems player costs are causing alot of them to lose money and the increased costs of travel that was made worse this season by its merger with the IHL has kinda forced their hand.

Could be interesting the next few years to see how it all plays out, but it certainly looks like the CHL is becoming more of  northern league while the NAHL is treading more southward.

Went to the Mavericks-Thunder game in Independence a couple weeks ago, the Thunder goalie let a puck traveling at less than 1 mph go through his legs (after hitting his skate and stick a couple times too)...it was quite embarrassing to be from the state of KS at that time. :(

Was at this game as well.  :facepalm: x1000.  Needless to say he was left of the Thunders playoff roster.
