How much time do we need to spend re-answering the question of why Clones have better attendance. Anyone who has been to Ames knows and should not even waste their time with this thread. There are not a lot of places that make me yearn to be back in Manhattan, but Ames, Iowa is at the top of that list.

Your name is Cleveland...

You live in Ames.

Pretty Iowa'y of Havs to be all over KC's nutsack like it was NYC or something.

I'm more of an LA guy than a NY guy. Just personal preference I guess. The plaza is no Rodeo Drive by any means, but I still made fun out of it I guess.

Holy cac, is there anything more adorable than an Iowan trying to talk big cities.

Iowan #1:  I just loved the statute of Liberty and Times Square!
Iowan # 2: Oh yeah, I really prefer China Town and the Golden Gate Bridge!
Iowan #1: Subway cars and jewish people!
Iowan # 2: trolleys and chinamen!

SO cute

Can you quit following me when I go on vacation??? It's kinda creepin me out...

No way, I wouldn't miss that many malls.

BUT BUT, we've got LeB...err...the Browns....err...the Tribe...err...public sector funding of the arts!

Yea, Cleveland kind of blows, but really Ames?

You could probably argue that Cleveland is the Ames of US metros with greater than 2 mil people.

Don King is from Cleveland, which beats any famous resident from Ames....

I'm tired of Ames being made the subject of fun. I want to participate in straw polls, I want to turn  :opcat: and live with a population of 2% African Americans, Story County here I come!

true story about the game last night. i live less than a mile from bramlage and have season tickets. totally remembered the game on sunday and then forgot about it until last night around 7:15 when i saw something about it mentioned on here. go figure.

sounds like too much time thinking about iowa & stuffing your fat face with disgusting iowa foods & not enough time thinking about our cats.

speaking of which. can't wait for the ksu/isu game this year on february 5th where i will be partaking in the annual friday night before the game cheese curd fest at high life lounge in des moines. oh baby.

Yes, in Presidential elections usually. If you had enough chromosomes you would look closer. Harkin doesn't count.
