Great talking point. Quite a bit different than the version of the triangle Wooly ran, but still has the concepts.

Also, thank you to meek for using PPP numbers to back up the improvement.

Just seems if you can't slash to the basket you can't score with this.

Curt=nuthin
Jamar= AWOL
Rod= no shots

My LBBIQ eyes see way more good looks for Sprads, McGruder, and Jake then we were getting in December.  Curt looks a little lost at times but he seemed to play within what he was asked to do against ku and ou and didn't really make any offensive mistakes.

We're not a great offensive team and we ain't gonna be this year.  BFD.

Fear the Beard.  Free Kelly.  Retire 30.

I think Unds has been HCIW for at least this season and last.

slightly OT observo:  are we better later in the shot clock than we are earlier?  last year it seemed like we shot quicker and when we held it we weren't as good.  this year it seems like the opposite, though I have no stats whatsoever to back this up, only memory of shirt tucks being upset with early 3's getting chucked.  we also seemed to be better/more efficient in transition/getting the ball up the court so that may lead to some "early" shots.

We are better later in the clock because we stop trying to get other people shots and just let Jake be Jake.

We are better when we don't settle for anything but open shots or layups until we absolutely have to. Using more of the shot clock in an offensive possession gives the defense more opportunities to break down.

it also gives our turnover prone team more chance to turn it over instead of chucking and getting offensive boards

I effing love 95 then.  KU was the first game where he didn't drive to the basket every time he touched it.  He seems very aggressive.

yeah, he's lost in  the offense so that's all he knows what to do out there.
