Man, we destroyed it so bad I didn't even notice him pull out the Triangle and 2. Who was the other guy he manned up?

In the first half for a possession or two I think Pullen and Kelly.

In the second half I believe Pullen and McGruds. I remember Irving scored on the drive on one possession against it.

i didn't notice that they were in a tri+2 on that*.  i was just shocked and lolling at how bad their d was on that poss.  figures that it was a junk d.

* amazing that the greatest coach of time didn't bother to mention it to his viewing public.  he's the greatest though, so it was probably more important to let everyone know again and again that kstate's odds of winning would improve if kstate kept scoring.

I love this thread. This is my first time back to goEMAW since the game, but I can't believe this didn't get more attention.

I think my favorite part of dominating them (besides the katpak on the court afterward) was that Self was forced to call his last timeout with 10 minutes left. Seriously. When has a team EVER done that?

When Markieff took that 3, it was over, they had completely lost their focus.

Also enjoyed early in the game when JHR made some turn around gangly bank shot on one of the Morris'. Self's reaction was priceless, basically turned to other coaches and said WTF...

Seemed like we rebounded the cac out of the ball too, especially defensively, keeping them off the o-glass. Numbers confirm?

OR% - KSU 45.5%, KU 36.7%

Saw that, was curious about the raw reb. numbers though.

29-23 Cats.

Thanks _. I asked in another thread, but Pullen would be the first Q@ since ___________ to split (or better) at home against KU in his career?
