No question the 01 team rapes this year's team.  01 was a down year but we still had a ton of talent on that team.  Better question-  how many players from this team would even start on the 01 team?

I would day DT would start and he would've had to beat out Scobey and Joe Hall (who quit during the season).  Brod Smith would have started at WR and Harper would have been 3rd reciever.  Harper may have forced A. Lockett to the slot (where he was better anyway).  

The 01 defense was pretty damn good and none of our LB's would start.  MAybe Harold could crack the lineup on the DL and I think Garrett could see a lot of action and maybe start at DB.

Cherry, while not great is better than the kickers we had in 01.  Our kicking was horrid that year.

I went to a women's basketball game with Gosch one time.  It was that stunning loss to Notre Dame in the second round of the NCAA tourney back in '03.
I was pretty good friends with his brother, actually.  Not that it really matters.  Just throwing that out there.

Well, they sure didn't wipe the floor with KSU that year, and that team didn't even make a bowl.  (Granted the 07 KSU team played a lot better in the first half of the year before imploding.)
