What about running wildcat full time?
« on: October 23, 2010, 07:12:14 PM »
DT may not throw the prettiest ball, but we don't throw it that much anyways.  Getting both Thomas and Powell on the field at the same time (and Coffman off the field) can't be a bad thing.

...As for the defense, I got nothin.  They suck and there's nothing we can do about it.

Would be a better way to control the clock and keep the pathetic defense off the field

I love the retards that want to change quarterbacks, and that's all they can talk about.  We scored 42 f*cking points.

how many of those points were scored through the efforts of CC and not WRs adjusting to shitty throws or DT not being a loser who stopped running?

you are an even bigger Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) if you think CC is helping.

I agree with 99% of this.  Coff is still a problem.  Getting the ball in CH, DT, TT, hands >>>>>>>>>>>>CC

So you agree that if the defense could even stiff mediocrity, KSU wins this one easily.

how many of those points were scored through the efforts of CC and not WRs adjusting to cacty throws or DT not being a loser who stopped running?

Assuming you were not actually at the game, I don't know how you can know whether the throws were "cacty" or not, considering that is not one of the many benefits of wyattvision...

And I do not think that CCQ, nor our offense as a whole was the problem in this particular game. As Pittcat so perfectly put it, if you can't see that you are an idiot.

Let's focus our  :chainsaw: efforts in other places...

yes.  But we could have won it tonight if we got the ball to DT, Powell on 4 and short instead of CC.  We could have won tonight if we looked to CH instead of letting CC run around like a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).

I agree that we were bleeding badly and I'm only suggesting a band aid.  But i think those band aids listed above would have been enough to stop enough bleeding to win.

Get the ball in DT's hands?  Who fumbled early in the second half?  DT's a great 'back, but giving him the ball more is not the solution at all.

I'm being more micro, you more macro.  I think Powell needs to be used more game to game.  I would rather have the ball in DT's hands on that 4th and short (or even powell's hands).

I do agree with that.  But it's a moot point if our defense doesn't give up 700 rough ridin' yards.

Don't be dumb.  Obviously the defense is our problem.  I even said as much.

CCQ isn't to blame for our losses.  But he's not a playmaker.  Daniel is.  William is.  This is a way to get them both on the field at the same time with an extra blocker in front of them.  Would love to see more wildcat formation.  Definitely in those situations when our offensive coordinators can't help but call a QB run..(3rd and 4th down anyone?)  Carsy's not the best to carry the ball in those situations.
