Other option for Tony Mitchell is to work on his academics and not attend a JUCO in hopes of qualifying to play at Missouri in 2nd semester.

Mike Anderson has led yet another mother astray.  Not only would Tony have been cleared if he had stayed at his prior school and stayed with Frank, he would have been showcased on a team that will be on national television vastly more than Missouri.

Tony made a huge mistake.   Obviously his mother deserves most of this blame, but Tony deserves some as well.

And Anderson, on Monday, sounded as optimistic as he ever has that power forward Tony Mitchell may yet make it out of the NCAA Eligibility Center and be able to join the squad for the second semester.

“I won’t divulge any more,” Anderson said. “But we’re just hopeful that the process will work.”
