Not even the slightest chance there will be anything that cool or original in the forthcoming KSU women's/men's basketball practice facility. They (OSU mens hoops) even have their own weight room. Probably their own film room, too.

If our facility ends up being half as nice as theirs, that'd be cool. Our facility will be new but that's about it. The new facility pics looks like a simple cookie cutter design. Nothing special.

For those that are bitching about K-State's proposed BTF, if you were to build the BTF at the same price per square foot that was spent on that EuroTrash/VegasCokeWhore style dressing room that OSU basketball has . . . than the BTF would cost about $30 million dollars.  So, which one of you architectural giants is going to pony up the extra $10 to $15 million it would take to equal OSU's EuroTrash/VegasCokeWhore facility??

Tell me architectural giants . . . just what about a BASKETBALL TRAINING FACILITY says, "oh gosh lets do something really unique here, let's go Gyo Obata or Frank Gehry on this thing"??

I don't want our practice facility to look anything like a scene from Good Fellas.  That thing OSU built is f8cking awful, they're going to have to spend $10MM updating it in like 5 years because it looks so bad (think the dark wood paneling at your grandparents house).

If the architects get extra money (didn't know they had any to begin with) it should go towards making the inside of Bramlage look more like AA Arena in Dallas and less like an unfinished basement got smashed together with a VA hospital.
