last 4 at large v last 4 auto qualifiers.  seeding?

the last four at-large teams would be put on the seed line the committee decided they earned. So, this could mean that two could be considered No. 12 seeds playing for the right to play a No. 5 and two could be No. 11s vying to play a No. 6 in the second round.

so if 16 seed upsets one of the last at large selections in a play in game then they could be playing 4/5/6 seed instead of a 1 seed.  could setup a cinderella run

Guerrero said there would be no limit as to the number of times a conference participates in one of the First Four games. Previously, the opening-round matched the two lowest-rated automatic qualifiers. That standard will still apply for the game between the last two automatic qualifiers for two of the No. 16 seeds.

Could someone explain the last sentence of the article? They totally confused me.

last 4 of the automatic qualifiers will play for 2 auto qualifier spots.

apparently this will maintain the integrity of the seeding.

I get it now. But it would be cooler if the last 4 at larges played the last 4 automatic bids.
