Just left big time meeting in downtown KC and the sidewalks are swarming with ISU fans staring up at the buildings and taking pictures of them.  Also, they are photographing police who carry loaded guns and anyone wearing a business suit or carrying a briefcase.  I saw 2 ISU fans faint when one of the P&L security folks rolled by on a segue.

As I was getting into my limo, a clone wearing head to toe red asked me if George Brett lived in the tall shiny building (1 KC Place)

I remember going to Iowa fairs and having a pork chop on a stick. which is really just a pork chop cut so you can hold on to the bone and eat it like a turkey leg.

I have a coworker that is a huge ISU fan and a wonderful human being. I lost a 12 pack of LaCroix to her on our friendly annual Farmageddon wager last month.

Yeah, my coworker is the same, very very good dude. This year we just more or less pretended the game didn't happen til the day before and for like a small discussion Monday. I think for both of us win or lose that game given how crazy work has been rubbing it in would not accomplish a goddamn thing.
