TY for this! My crew and I got stuck out in the parking lot for the whole 2nd half and just looked on our phone for updates. I felt a lil silly doing this afterwards on the way home. Flying down there for the game, just to tailgate for a whole 2nd half.

Yeah, everyone got a late start to the day. Half our group had to drive in from Dallas to FT Worth for the game and there was a wreck that held us back. It kinda sucked.

That happens, but you got "stuck" in the parking lot during the 2nd half? I mean, dominating those guys in the 2nd half was the best part of the game and some of the most fun I've had watching K-State this season.

I know. My college buddies get together once a year for a road game. One of them is a booze rep, so I guess our intentions were to party for a bit and then head back in. Once we started crushing them, lots of the guys changed their mind.

Nah, but Mrs. wacky has had it pretty rough since September, ever since she lost her job. The weather was pretty crappy out and she was miserable and I knew she was having a good time at the tailgate. I was trying to be nice, but I probably won't take her again. She was being kinda bratty at this thing. Granted it was like 38 and raining. FWIW, she thinks it's meant to be a guys trip moving forward too.

To be fair, that was her second week in a row of surrounding her weekend with K-State sports. I guess you could make it 3 with this last Saturdays game, but we were with her family all weekend before that, so not really.

You did the right thing. Also, and this is JMHO, don't say negative things about her in public, even on a BBS. Figuring out the give and take in marriage is a big deal (which you were/are doing), but how you communicate about your significant other is just as important. I've found that complaining about things only makes everything worse and saying (or typing) negative things only internalizes those and causes more division.

Okay, enough of that.
