On Saturday I had an hour long conversation with my dad about how it’s weird I’m almost 40. 2 days later I realized I’ve been 40 for 7 months.

My grandparents moved into a retirement community apartment. They go to the casino and come to all my kids games (unless the huskers are playing) but it was shocking to me when they sold the house and made the move. They are spry AF for being 88 and 92 but it shook me a bit. thinking about their age it shouldn’t have I guess. Don’t like to think about my folks being next in line.

Saw a commercial with what appeared to be underaged kids drinking at a party. I thought it was an anti-underage drinking commercial. Nope. It was a Crown Royal commercial. People in their 20s now look like 16 year olds to me.
