I think I saw an article on DFW CBS this morning that 3 people died overnight in an auto accident from COVID. Don't forget to count them.

i don't do the counts myself, bookie.
My 73-yr-old uncle w/ cancer is rightfully terrified of getting this. That doesn't stop him from sharing these memes and calling it a hoax though. Anything to own the libs.

may as well call it, it's gonna be tomorrow or saturday. congratulations to the two posters who predicted correctly.
one of the best coronavirus expert accounts predicts 300k deaths by the end of august. caveat being it's mostly a guess as to how we'll respond rather than about the biology of the virus.https://twitter.com/trvrb/status/1255978143904444417
It also seems reasonable to assume that the US would follow a course similar to NYC and the rest of the world, neither of which initially hung at a long plateau. We'll see!

It stands to reason that the population distribution of behaviors would be similar across states. And polls seem to support this. Despite a FEW more businesses being open during May, people will continue to stay home, wear masks, etc. I'm guessing that will be enough to keep things headed in the right direction.
we're going with the worldometers count on this one, bookie.
