i have it on good authority that when swagwood checked in to his hotel room in arlington there was an unmarked envelope on his pillow.  Inside was an undisclosed number of $100 bills, a photo of Petty, and an unsigned hand written note that said "by and large, you have a reasonably good idea of what needs to be done"
