How does one get into flag twirling to begin with? I don't recall this being a choice when I picked flag football over soccer.

I think it's more of a calling than a choice. The heart wants what the heart wants type of thing.

I have friends in the band that I wanted to hang out with and go to games with.  I can see where this may be difficult for people without friends to relate to.
