If you don't mind throwing down $15 then go see it in 3D/IMAX. That is the only way I can recommend this film in good conscience. I wouldn't have minded if there was no dialog at all, just SMASH CRASH RRRAAAWWWWWRRRRRRR SMASH. that kinda stuff.

I think the people part is just the right amount for this film. The story line isn't all that complex, "major monster, holy crap how do we beat it"is the human part. I think it is necessary to allow for how good the rest of the movie runs.
