March madness is a little tougher to win than a BCS championship

First, congrats to our TSC bretheren on another confy title.

Second, I believe KU, in their previous national championship, did not play any team higher than a 6 seed on their way to the championship game.  That would be like K-State never playing anyone in the top 15 in football before going to the national title game.  Your statement is denied.   :nono:

but they beat the teams who beat the higher seeds so I'm assuming KU woulda won either way...statement reinstated.

Anyone who thinks winning a bball natty is harder than a football natty is delusional. One loss in football, especially late in the season, pretty much diminishes your chances of even making it to the title game. To win a natty in bball, you just have to get in the tournament and get hot at the right time. Look at '88 KU. They were a 6 seed.

Winning six games in a row in a one-and-done format is much more difficult than winning a division of the SEC and getting placed into the national title game.  Football doesn't have a true national championship.  It's a joke.

Winning 6 games in a row in a one and done format against bad seeds makes it a lot easier. KU played a 16, 8, 12 and 10 seed to make it to the Final 4 in '08. I know you beat two 1 seeds in the Final 4 but still, the road to the Final 4 was pretty damn easy and is a lot easier than Bama or Auburn going 13-0 in the SEC (including SEC title game).

Do you really think KU in '88 was the true national champion? I don't think so.

they won the tournament so apparently so. sorta like this year, bama was better than auburn but just got best on a miracle play.

KU is right on par with Notre Dame ... when it comes to adding additional conference revenue

This coming from a fanbase that has one of the most generic mascots in all of college sports, with a fight song copied from various sources (including Indiana State and Purdue), with a logo that's a direct rip-off of Iowa's Hawkeye.

Not even true...plus, didn't KU copy its alma mater from Cornell?
